Luke Brisson

Authorized representative in Southern Alberta

Luke Brisson brings a lifetime of experience helping people to his work with Just Passing – as the steady rock of support under pressure. He has been a firefighter with the Calgary Fire Department since 2006 and a member of the CFD Honor Guard.

Luke is also a volunteer with Canada Task Force 2, an “all-hazards” Disaster Response Team based out of Calgary, and has specialized training in Technical Rescue.

Originally from Newfoundland, he served in the Canadian Armed Forces from 1996 – 1999. He traveled the world before settling in Alberta, where he first volunteered with Red Deer County Fire. Luke and his wife Becki now reside in Calgary with their two daughters. With all that, he still occasionally finds time to play hockey.

That impressive resume says a lot about Luke. His unique set of skills, and his commitment. While the Just Passing truck might not be fire-engine red, there’s no doubt that when you need him the most, you can count on Luke to get there quickly and complete the job with the utmost compassion and competence.

Greg Alexander, the man behind Just Passing.

Greg Alexander demonstrated his natural affinity for horses, cattle and other animals from an early age, growing up on a mixed farm on the northeast edge of Calgary. He put that experience to work, running his own grain and livestock operation for 30 years. Off the farm, he also drove as a commercial line-haul truck driver on the Calgary-Vancouver run through the Rockies.

Greg’s goal with Just Passing was to provide necessary services for other animal lovers in their time of need. He is devoted to treating people and animals with dignity, compassion and respect.
